Fun Guide to Maranda’s Big 4 Weekend May 20-22

Carnival at the Ballpark

Bring the family for a new kind of ballpark fun! It’s carnival at the Ballpark this weekend and they have something for the whole family. Roll’N Out Food Truck Fest

Food trucks are rolling through Calder Plaza this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. They will have all kinds of tasty food trucks for everyone to enjoy. Plus, families can enjoy other activities and entertainment. Over 38 food trucks will fill the space, so there’s sure to be something you’ll enjoy.

GRAM and Air Zoo Membership Exchange

In May, Air Zoo members and GRAM members enjoy reciprocal benefits throughout the month. What does it mean? GRAM members can present their membership card for free admission to the Air Zoo at the entrance and vice versa! Now is a great time to become a member of one or both of these sites if you haven’t already!

Grand Haven Kite Festival

Kites will fill the skies of Grand Haven this weekend as their annual kite festival returns. This event is completely free. World-famous stunt kites perform to music on the central flying field while kites larger than a school bus soar just to the south. Bring your own kite and join in all the fun. This event is weather dependent and subject to rescheduling.


Holland Farmers Market opening weekend

The open-air Holland Farmers Market is back this weekend. It’s going to be the first weekend of the season and they’re sure to bring out all the fan-favorite vendors this Saturday. Stop by the market from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and stock up on fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods, flowers, and more.

Boulder Ridge Baby Animal Days

Baby Animal Days is back in Boulder Ridge this weekend. Throughout the weekend, families can head to Boulder Ridge for all kinds of baby animal encounters, activities, snacks and more. The whole family will enjoy this great event and you definitely won’t want to miss it!
